SUSTAINABILITY & BIODIVERSITY PROJECTS
Worldwide, research continues into the pressures on bees. Scientists cite complex causes of which disease – largely the Varroa mite – is a primary cause and climate change and agri-chemicals are key contributors. They agree however, that well-nourished bees, with a wide variety of forage, have healthier immune systems, making them more able to withstand other environmental pressures.
We work with local/national public, private and charitable bodies to pool knowledge, improve mutual understanding of biodiversity issues and collaborate on projects large and small.
